About CISF Head Constable Posts

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) is a paramilitary force established under the Central Industrial Security Force Act, 1968, by an Act of Parliament. Since its inception in 1969 with 3,129 personnel, the force has grown to have a strength of 1,63,613 members as of June 1, 2021. CISF comprises 74 other formations, including eight training institutes and 12 reserve battalions.
